Welcome

Born and raised in the secluded and somewhat protected quiet of the Appalachian Mountains, I found myself stepping away in my early twenties, and as fate would have it, never to return. 

The ensuing journey has been both exciting and wonderful, allowing me to visit some of the most remarkable places on the planet, also enabling me to meet some of the world's most fascinating and accomplished people along the way.

I've taken lots of notes and photographs to help me remember the voyage.  If you have time, please enjoy some of my travel photos.
